Bekim Hasaj

I am a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Malax, Finland. Graduated in Painting, Visual Arts at Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, Italy in 2014. Since 2017, I have been working actively in Finland as a freelance artist together with my partner Valentina Gelain, developing different categories of Art with a particular focus on Public Art and more specifically on Mural paintings. My training, mainly pictorial, has always directed me to the analysis and study of color which recently became also the main subject of my artworks.
Within Public art, I find crucial the interaction between the artwork and the environment/location where it will be immersed, and for this reason, many of my projects have a site-specific review.
